About Me

As a young athlete sports gave me a place to belong, to learn about myself, and to grow.  But it wasn't until I began coaching after graduating, as an intercollegiate athlete, from George Mason University that it gave me the gift of connection.  Through coaching I have learned how to connect with athletes, to create champions out of players and teams who started out with no confidence, to build team cultures that athletes love being part of, and to successfully support young women in their journey to reaching their personal and team goals.  Since beginning in 2001 I have coached thousands of young athletes, with hundreds moving on to compete at the next level, opened my own training center for athletes (since sold), and provided coaches clinics to local leagues.  During that time I have always pursued further education in strength, conditioning, and recovery through the National Strength and Conditioning Association, Corrective Holistic Kinesiology (CHEK) Institute, and most recently with world-renowned osteopath, Dr. Guy Voyer's, three-year SOMA Training Program. As a mother, I now realize even more the invaluable influence coaches have on children and am on a mission to leave a positive stamp on the sports world.   I look forward to working with you, or your athletes!
